The Sobolev Institute of Geology and Mineralogy, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, will host the 18th All-Russian Conference "Deep Magmatism, Its Sources and Plumes" from May 12 to 15, 2026.

The conference "Deep Magmatism, Its Sources and Plumes" is the brainchild of Nikolai Vasilyevich Vladykin, with a long history. Over the more than 20 years since its inception in 2004, the original title has changed slightly, but the topic has remained constant, addressing current issues in the genesis of alkaline rocks.
